1. Scope

These terms govern your use of the iOS app BeautyTimer, offered by QBasti, Germany ("we"). By installing or using the app you accept these terms. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies in addition; where the two conflict, these terms prevail to the extent permitted.

2. What the app does — and what it does not promise

BeautyTimer helps you track how long cosmetics have been open, based on the dates and shelf lives you enter. All expiry information is guidance, not a safety guarantee: actual product safety depends on storage, usage and the product itself. Always check a product's look, smell and the manufacturer's information before use. The app provides no medical, dermatological or safety advice, and we accept no liability for the condition of your cosmetics.

3. Free version and advertising

The free version is ad-supported (banner ads) and limited to 10 products and the Glow theme collection plus the manual design mode.

4. BeautyTimer Gold

• Subscriptions (monthly or yearly) unlock all theme collections, widgets, expiry reminders, unlimited products and remove all advertising.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The price is shown in the app before you buy.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; the renewal is charged within 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your App Store account settings — or directly via "Cancel subscription" in the app's settings.
• Gold Lifetime is a one-time purchase that permanently unlocks the same features. It is not a subscription and nothing renews.
• Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple under Apple's terms: reportaproblem.apple.com.
• If a subscription lapses, Gold features lock again; your product data is never deleted by this.

5. Your data, your responsibility

Product data lives on your device and in your personal iCloud. We run no servers and keep no copy — please maintain regular device backups. See the Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control. You may not reverse-engineer, resell or misuse the app, and you must comply with applicable law.

7. Third-party components

The app contains open-source components and public data listed on the Licenses page. Third-party services (Apple, Google, RevenueCat, Open Beauty Facts) operate under their own terms.

8. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and under mandatory law. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual duties, limited to the foreseeable damage typical of the contract. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected. The app is provided "as is" beyond these mandatory rights.

9. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; the current version is always available at this URL. We may discontinue the free service or individual features; purchased entitlements remain governed by Apple's rules. You can end the agreement at any time by deleting the app (and cancelling any active subscription).

10. Governing law and contact

German law applies, excluding the UN Sales Convention; mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence stay untouched. Contact: golden-stream-65@icloud.com

Nutzungsbedingungen

1. Geltung

Diese Bedingungen gelten für die iOS-App BeautyTimer von QBasti, Deutschland („wir"). Mit der Installation oder Nutzung akzeptierst du sie. Ergänzend gilt Apples Standard-EULA; bei Widersprüchen gehen diese Bedingungen vor, soweit zulässig.

2. Was die App leistet — und was nicht

BeautyTimer hilft dir zu verfolgen, wie lange Kosmetik geöffnet ist — auf Basis der Daten und Haltbarkeiten, die du selbst einträgst. Alle Ablauf-Angaben sind Orientierung, keine Sicherheitsgarantie: Ob ein Produkt noch gut ist, hängt von Lagerung, Nutzung und dem Produkt selbst ab. Prüfe vor der Verwendung stets Aussehen, Geruch und Herstellerangaben. Die App gibt keine medizinische, dermatologische oder sicherheitsbezogene Beratung; für den Zustand deiner Kosmetik übernehmen wir keine Haftung.

3. Gratis-Version und Werbung

Die Gratis-Version ist werbefinanziert (Banner) und auf 10 Produkte sowie die Glow-Kollektion plus den manuellen Design-Modus begrenzt.

4. BeautyTimer Gold

• Abos (monatlich oder jährlich) schalten alle Design-Kollektionen, Widgets, Ablauf-Erinnerungen und unbegrenzte Produkte frei und entfernen sämtliche Werbung.
• Die Zahlung wird bei Kaufbestätigung über deine Apple-ID abgerechnet; der Preis wird vor dem Kauf in der App angezeigt.
• Abos verlängern sich automatisch, wenn sie nicht spätestens 24 Stunden vor Ablauf der laufenden Periode gekündigt werden; die Verlängerung wird innerhalb der letzten 24 Stunden der Periode berechnet.
• Verwalten und kündigen kannst du jederzeit in den Einstellungen deines App-Store-Kontos — oder direkt über „Abo kündigen" in den Einstellungen der App.
• Gold Lifetime ist ein Einmalkauf, der dieselben Funktionen dauerhaft freischaltet — kein Abo, nichts verlängert sich.
• Erstattungen wickelt ausschließlich Apple nach Apples Regeln ab: reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Läuft ein Abo aus, sperren die Gold-Funktionen wieder; deine Produktdaten bleiben davon unberührt.

5. Deine Daten, deine Verantwortung

Produktdaten liegen auf deinem Gerät und in deiner persönlichen iCloud. Wir betreiben keine Server und halten keine Kopie — bitte sichere dein Gerät regelmäßig. Näheres in der Datenschutzerklärung.

6. Zulässige Nutzung

Du erhältst ein persönliches, nicht übertragbares, einfaches Nutzungsrecht für Apple-Geräte in deinem Besitz. Zurückentwickeln, Weiterverkauf und Missbrauch der App sind untersagt; geltendes Recht ist einzuhalten.

7. Komponenten Dritter

Die App enthält Open-Source-Komponenten und öffentliche Daten — aufgeführt auf der Seite Lizenzen. Dienste Dritter (Apple, Google, RevenueCat, Open Beauty Facts) unterliegen deren eigenen Bedingungen.

8. Haftung

Unbeschränkt haften wir für Vorsatz, grobe Fahrlässigkeit und nach zwingendem Recht (z. B. bei Verletzung von Leben, Körper, Gesundheit). Bei einfacher Fahrlässigkeit haften wir nur für die Verletzung wesentlicher Vertragspflichten, begrenzt auf den vertragstypisch vorhersehbaren Schaden. Deine gesetzlichen Verbraucherrechte bleiben unberührt.

9. Änderungen und Beendigung

Wir können diese Bedingungen anpassen; die aktuelle Fassung steht stets unter dieser Adresse. Gratis-Funktionen können wir einstellen oder ändern; gekaufte Freischaltungen richten sich nach Apples Regeln. Du kannst die Nutzung jederzeit durch Löschen der App beenden (ein laufendes Abo bitte zusätzlich kündigen).

10. Recht und Kontakt
